Visma has acquired Mobilexpense, a pan-European provider of automated expense and spend management solutions to companies of all sizes, from Fortino Capital.

Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Mobilexpense’s platform integrates into CFO workflows and automates complex financial processes, helping customers increase efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.

Among the selling shareholders is Fortino Capital, which has been the lead investor in Mobilexpense for the past seven years.

Three segments

Mobilexpense serves more than 2,000 customers through expense and spend management products which are tailored to the needs of specific segments. MXP is for enterprises and large multinationals, Declaree covers mid-sized companies, while Expense targets smaller businesses.

The easy-to-use platform and corporate card offering gives companies full control of their business expenses, combined with fast and accurate reporting and reimbursements to keep employees happy. Mobilexpense customers span various industries, such as industrial sectors and consumer goods, with a strong presence in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden.

Following the acquisition by Visma, Mobilexpense will continue to operate as an independent company under the same name and management team.
